I have been receiving Chiropractic adjustments from Dr. York for the past 2 ½ years.  I first started seeing him because of my lower back and neck problems. Because of his adjustments I have slept better, exercised better and not needed pain medications.

He is friendly and thorough.  He asks questions that prompt me to tell him how my week has been.  His interest in my activities helps him to make the most of every adjustment.  His familiarity helps him to ask questions about my physical well-being.  For instance, I told him I spent time over the weekend painting the walls at home.  He then knew what adjustments would be most beneficial for me.  He provides customized adjustments not just the same thing every time!

I am an office worker sitting for most of the day; my lower back and neck tighten up from stress.  With regular adjustments, I am able to de-stress without taking Alleve or other pain medications.  I feel I can do more things during my free time because I get regular adjustments from Dr. York.

In January of 2006 I injured my lower back and received a pinched nerve. After going to see a medical doctor I was told I would likely deal with the pain for the rest of my life. After months of being prescribed different pain killers and only being able to stand for short periods of time, the doctors never mentioned that seeing a chiropractor could possibly help with my predicament. In 1998, I had a stroke which left me with pain in my left arm. Fortunately, the stroke did not leave me with any paralysis, but the pain was severe enough to keep me from using my left arm. My left arm which is my dominant arm, was in so much pain I wore a brace to keep from using it. Someone told me to try chiropractic, and then I met Dr. York.

Dr. York helped me tremendously. I immediately got rid of the brace and within six months was pain free in my arm. I have been on a supportive care program with regular chiropractic adjustments, exercises, therapies and now we have been focusing on my nutrition. The nutritional supplements that he recommended are giving me energy and now I have the motivation to enroll in a jazzercise class. I would have never thought I could feel this good after having the stroke. I love my chiropractor.
